Examiners rarely object to the research. They object to what the thesis does not establish about it — and all six of these are visible to an experienced reader in the first two chapters.
The contribution is nowhere in one sentence
If you cannot finish “this thesis contributes...” without hedging, your examiner cannot either. It should appear in the abstract, the introduction and the conclusion in compatible words.
